About

Makaton is a language programme that helps thousands of people across the UK communicate. It gives those who have communication difficulties a way to express themselves independently through using signs (gestures), symbols (pictures) and speech. The Makaton Charity exsist to ensure all children and adults with communication difficulties can access the tools and resources they need to have their voice heard.

Working for The Makaton Charity I have seen first hand the huge impact that Makaton has on families and individuals every day and the joy that it brings when communication barriers are overcome. I would love to see a world where everyone can be included, so to help raise funds for this vital work Dan and I will be running  The Great South 10 miles on 20th October. Any donation no matter how big or small would be hugely appreciated. Thank you!
